Kaneka Green Planet® Compounds are a biodegradable and home compostable alternative to traditional plastic. Green Planet® Compounds can replace traditional plastic products such as plates, straws, cups, cutlery, or other single-use items.
Kaneka Green Planet® Compound grades can be used in traditional extrusion, injection molding, and blown film applications. Kaneka PHBH™ Compounds are bio-based, strongly resistant to heat and can act as a barrier to water vapor.
Kaneka Green Planet® Compound grades are stable under everyday usage conditions – they won’t disintegrate on your countertop. Kaneka Green Planet® compounds will begin to degrade in various environments, depending on conditions.
